Eat Bobo's
I have an unhealthy obsession with Bobo's Oat Bars. It probably stems back to my obsession with oatmeal and granola, but when I first discovered these delicious bars upon moving to Colorado, I can rarely leave Whole Foods without one.
So, let's talk ingredients. The bars are locally made in Boulder, Colorado, and always cooked in small batches. They are gluten free, dairy free, and vegan, and the taste is truly unbeatable compared to any other oat-based bar I've ever tried! The do use brown rice syrup and organic cane sugar, which is more sweetness than I typically consume in a bar, but I feel great about the fact that the ingredients are pure and unrefined.
I have tried almost every flavor, and I have to say that my top 3 are coconut, maple pecan, and almond butter. Plus, the almond butter and peanut butter bars have 6 grams of protein, making them more filling. They recently launched Bobo's Bites, which are about half the size of a traditional bar and come in 7 of their classic flavors. Regardless of the size or flavor, Bobo's are perfect for your active lifestyle and will definitely give you energy for your exercise class or just serve as the perfect mid-day snack.
You can find Bobo's at Whole Foods, Safeway, King Soopers, Natural Grocers, Sprouts, REI, and more, in addition to online! Make sure to try one of these, I promise you will never go back once you become a Bobo's addict like me.
