I’ve been attracted to the idea of business consulting since I was in college. I actually met with a popular business coach in Nashville for coffee to ask him how to get started in a field I just knew I would love. I remember him telling me to just start and offer my limited knowledge to the world. While I was inspired by our conversation, 21 year old me knew that I didn’t have a lot to offer besides a strong work ethic and a desire to own my own business. Despite his encouragement, I knew that I needed some real world experience before I had something of value to offer.

Nearly a decade later, I can promise you that I have earned my stripes.

In the past 9 years, I’ve opened 2 Pure Barre studios, managed a staff of 20+ people, and learned the ins-and-outs of business formation, accounting, sales strategy, managing a team culture, and more. I’ve had a lifestyle blog for over 10 years that I monetized and grew into a strong social media platform, and I launched a copywriting business, which served other entrepreneurs and health companies in previous years. Most recently, my husband and I co-own a children’s Montessori toy company that grew from nothing to 7 figures in it’s first year of operation. It’s been a busy decade, full of hard knocks and hard earned wisdom that I’m passionate about sharing.
